Welcome to the home of Year 6 in Michael Morpurgo class.

This year Mr Westerby is the class teacher.

Throughout the year, we will have the support of Mrs Gash and also Mrs Walker.

We are all really looking forward to getting to know you all and having a great time for your final year at Oak Tree.

Yorkshire Wildlife Trip 30.3.23

We are all very excited to be going on our trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. After learning all about biomes and how animals have adapted to new environments, I'm sure the children will have a wonderful day seeing lots of animals and also learning lots from the session led by the zoo keepers.

Just a few reminders for next Thursday (30th)

Children need to be in full school uniform.
They will need a waterproof jacket and something warm to wear - We will be outside for the majority of the day.
We will be leaving at 9 and should be back for 3. If we will be late, you will recieve notification from the office.
The chidlren will need a packed lunch. If your child is usually school dinners, then a dinner will be provided.
Children will need to take a drink with them.
The children will not need any money.
No electronic devices to be taken.

I know your children will have a wonderful day and they will represent Oak Tree Primary School excellently.

Times Table Rockstars battles

Over the past few weeks, Michael Morpurgo class has been setting challenges to the other classes in school on Times Table Rockstars.

It's been wonderful to see children become engrossed in Times Tables and the battles have allowed children to make great strides in their times tables knowledge.
